For almost a year, many
customers have been enjoying our own “Organically
produced” Yogurt. We have been selling it as “Ultra”
Low Fat for those health conscious consumers looking
for a tasty alternative to the many low fat or even
the full fat / Whole Milk yogurts.
Having established this yogurt with our customers, we
are now being allowed to market it as “fat free”
as the amount of fat it contains is below that which
most methods can detect!
We expect the new labelling to be made available soon
to reflect this.
For those customers for whom this not to their taste
we are pleased to announce that we are now also going
to offer (again for a trial period) a whole milk yoghurt.
It has a smoother creamier texture that will appeal
to those who are looking for a more traditional yogurt.
But customers can rest assured it is still produced
by us here on the farm from our own organic milk.
We hope to make this available in 450ml pots for your
comments by the end of February. It will be made available
to order only during the trail period.
As with our other trial products (currently the 2L “poly”
bottles of our award winning milk) and the skimmed milk
in 1L bottles, we would welcome your comments to help
us assess exactly what customers are looking for from
The Riverford Farm Dairy.
